Important message from Seán Feehily Funeral Services, Cartron Cross, Sligo regarding
HSE guidelines for all funeral services during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
As our community in Sligo continues to feel the increasing impact of the coronavirus, we want to share with you what we are doing to keep our
families and funeral directors healthy and safe. Please be assured that we have protocols in place and are continually monitoring ongoing developments with the virus.
We remain committed to helping families honour the lives of their loved ones through meaningful services and gatherings,
while respecting the unique challenges brought by the coronavirus.
At our funeral home, we have chosen to protect our communities, families and funeral directors.
All services and gatherings must comply with official guidelines restricting the number of people to
a maximum of 50 that can gather at one time and place.
As part of our protocols,
we have put into place enhanced cleaning procedures for our funeral home and are paying special attention to high-touch surfaces such as doors, countertops etc.
We have advised funeral directors to practice social distancing and eliminate physical contact such as handshakes and embraces with families.
We encourage everyone to follow the HSE recommendations regarding hygiene to help prevent the spread of illness.
The relatives and friends can leave public messages of condolence at the obituary tab on Rip.ie or privately feehilys.ie.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our funeral directing team at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Services, Cartron Cross,
