August 16th 2026, peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved parents Peter and Mary. Much loved brother of Bernie Clarke, Margaret, Robert, Peter, Eddie and Frankie Carr. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Deirdre and Eileen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, his colleagues at Noel Carr and Company, Roscommon, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday, August 19th from 3:30pm until 5:30pm and on Thursday, August 20th at his brother Eddie’s home, Colga, Calry, Co. Sligo (F91F8A0) from 5pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, August 21st at 11am in Saint Patrick’s Church, Calry, Co. Sligo (F91V659) and will be livestreamed via www.churchservices.tv/calryparish Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery.
