Lavin, Philomena née Padden, Pearse Road, Sligo and formerly of Highwood, Co.Sligo, October 2nd 2024, peacefully in the care of the staff of Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy and son Enda. Dearly loved mother of Marie and Kieran. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter, son, brother Padraig, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Helen, son-in-law Noel McTernan, cherished grandchildren Conor, Catherine, Sinead, Seamus, Paul, Emma and Paraic, great-grandson anna, sister-in-law Thomasina, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at her daughter Marie and son-in-law Noels home (Pearse Road) from 4:30pm until 7:30pm on Friday, October 4th. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, October 5th in Saint Johns Church, Carraroe, Co.Sligo and will be livestreamed via www.churchtv.ie/carraroe/. Burial follows in Kilmactranny Cemetery, Co.Sligo. Those who wish to leave a condolence message may do so in private below or by traditional manner.
