I am sorry that I wont get to catch up with him - we had so much to talk about since we hung out in New York. That I wont see him pop on tv (its always Sunny in Philadelphia- Ill never forget watching the episode in Ireland and he was there!). I will remember him warmly. Jenny McLynn (McNulty family)

We are heartbroken at the loss of wonderful Barry. It has been an honor to have been his friends for 30 years. We are especially grateful to have worked with him several times, to have known him and deeply valued him as an artist. Barry did Amys short play with us just last year, rehearsing online from Ireland. It was such a rich experience, in large part because of the commitment, vulnerability and talent Barry brought to the production. We will cherish those memories, together with many memories of late nights, good conversation and abundant laughter. We send our deepest condolences and much love to his beloved family.

Im so deeply sad to hear of Barrys sudden passing. We were friends from acting class and I absolutely adored him. So kind and funny and talented! I saw him not that long ago when he came to see me play Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden and we talked about getting together when he got back from Ireland for a coffee and a good catching up chin wag. I can barely process that hes gone! Its far too soon for him and for all of us who cared so much about him. I send my deepest condolences to all his dearest friends and family in his beloved Ireland. Flights of angels sing thee to thy rest dear sweet lovely Barry.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Barry. I met this wonderful person a year ago in Egypt on his trip for Ninas birthday. All his close friends were there. He touched my heart immediately. I felt we had been friends forever. He was a good fun loving man and I shall dearly miss him.I had made a good friend that sadly has been taken away. This is heartbreaking. God bless his soul.

My Heartfelt Condolences to Anne, Brian, Donald & special neice, Mariella on the sudden and unexpected passing of your beloved Barry. We were all richer for having Barry in our lives and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was so easy to love and I will miss his visits back to his native home, enormously. He truly was "One in a Million". Our friendship started in the late '70s at Community Games in St. Mary's, next we rolled into our teens as we socialized in the same nightlife in the '80s. It was wonderful to reconnect in our adult years and having the same appreciation for our life long friendship. We had such good times together and I am delighted Barry joined our Family & Friends in recent weeks to celebrate my Father's 85th Birthday. That was to be my last time to have the pleasure of his company. I'm so very grateful he came down that night. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his beloved Noel, Mum & Dad. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Barbara & John Moloney.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, my friendship with Barry was new, he became a dear friend very quickly. We shared an adventure to Eygpt in fall of 2022, there were 15 of us and we had an incredible time. Barry kept us in stitches the whole trip. We had gotten together for dinner a few times after the trip and Barry made those dinners special. I will miss him terribly. He had a big presence and made everything that much better. Sending his family love and lightMay he Rest In Peace

Dearest ORourke Family- Barry was like a brother to me and our close group of friends in Los Angeles. Though we werent childhood friends, we certainly acted like children as we grew up together over the last 28 years. Silverlake was our village, his home away from Sligo. We had soooo many adventures together, including the time we rescued and adopted a baby dove that we named Barry from a Wild West TV show set. He lived with me when he moved back from New York until he moved to his flat on Lafayette Park Place. Im so sorry for your loss and the loss we are all enduring. I lost my brother when I was 12 so I can only imagine all of the grief you are going through with the losses of Barry and Noel as well as your beautiful mum. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. Barry was like family and so in my heart, I have deep love and care for all of you! May his memory be a blessing! Elizabeth
