And Poleberry Terrace, Waterford, April 10th 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.
Predeceased by his loving parents Jack and Nan Flavin, brothers infant Jim and Edmund. Beloved husband of Deirdre (née Carroll) and dearly loved father of Kevin, Declan and Áine Bailey. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, daughters-in-law Sue and Beatrice and son-in-law Alan Bailey, sister Clare Quinn, brothers John, Jim, Frank, cherished grandchildren Seán, Ciarán, Sarah, Éabha and Liam, sisters-in-law Maeve Hogg, Frances Flavin, Breda Flavin and Margo Flavin, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo (F91DD72) on Sunday, April 12th from 3pm to 5pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Monday, April 13th at 2:30pm and will be livestreamed via www.sligocathedral.ie.
Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
Family home private please.
