February 28th 2026, peacefully in the exceptional care of the Short Stay Unit at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved son Gerard (Gerry) and parents William and Elizabeth.
Dearly loved wife of Martin Joe and mother of Joan, Bernie, Deirdre and Oliver. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband and family, sons-in-law Rory Gillen and Ian Smith, daughter-in-law Gen, cherished grandchildren Melissa (Eoin), Gavin (Rebecca), Aisling, Amy, Sarah, Caelan, Erin and Jake, great-grandchildren Fionn and Odhrán, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at her home (F91X319) on Sunday, March 1st from 4pm until 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, March 2nd at 11:30am in The Church of the Assumption, Sooey, Co. Sligo and will be livestreamed via https://www.youtube.com/live/f45J_sIkZpE?si=bEvazWPrdGJjElU0, burial will follow in Kiltycloghan Cemetery, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo.
