Byrne, Kathleen (Kay) née Byrne, Circular Road, Sligo and formerly of Spencer Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, May 21st 2026, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Terence (Terry). Dearly loved mother of Declan, Carmel, Aengus, Cathriona and Marese. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sons-in-law John, Paul and Seán, daughters-in-law Ann-Marie and Yvonne, cherished grandchildren Andrea, Raymond, Francesca, Genevieve, Ciara, Conor, Eleanor, Emma, Eoghan, Tom, Harry and Alexander, greatgrandchildren Donnacha, Matthew and Leo, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Monday, May 25th from 5:30pm to 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, May 26th in Saint Anne’s Church, Sligo and will be livestreamed via mcn.live/Camera/st-annes-cranmore. Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Saint John’s Community Hospital Patient Comfort Fund c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home via www.feehilys.ie/pay Family home private please.
