McGowan, John, Fermoyle, Calry, Co.Sligo and formerly of Cornacloy, Glenfarne, Leitrim, September 16th 2024, unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Phyllis. Dearly loved husband of Cathy and father of Dean (Alison) and Jason (Susan). He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, sisters Mairead (Gerry), Geraldine (Jimmy) and Martina (Spencer), cherished grandchildren Jack and Lucy, godparents Kathleen and Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Wednesday September 18th from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, September 19th at 11am in Saint Josephs Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo, followed by burial in Clogher New Cemetery.
