My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Griffin family. Through years of dedicated service, John was a wonderful individual who improved the lives of the most vulnerable in societythose with intellectual disabilities and the nurses caring for them. When I first became a nurse, he offered me invaluable and supportive advice, not just as a manager but as a colleague who cared about developing people. I am truly grateful for that. I hope you find comfort in the difference John made to a lot of people. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h'anam dílis.
