Burnside, Jimmy, Garavogue Villas, Sligo, December 26th 2024, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of Summerville Healthcare, Strandhill, Co.Sligo, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy, parents Billy and Maisie and brothers Billy and Ronnie. Dearly loved father of Ann Marshall, Connie Gethins, Maisie McGlone, Lisa Burnside and Orla Wilhite. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters, sisters Alex and Ann Marie, brothers Plunkett, Pat and Josie, sons-in-law Declan, Tom, John and Adam, cherished grandchildren Kyle, Rebecca, James, Ruth, Kelly, Chloe, Niamh, Elayna, Katie, Isabella and Noelle, great-grandchildren Kayla, Grace, Aoife, Ada, Elliott, Avery, Lennon, Shay, Zack and Izzy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Sunday, December 29th from 3:30pm with removal to Saint Annes Church, Sligo at 5pm arriving at 5:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, December 30th at 11am and will be livestreamed via https://mcn.live/Camera/st-annes-cranmore. Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery.
