Heather Blackwell (née Sanders)

Ballyweelin, Rosses Point, Co.Sligo and formerly of Birmingham, UK.

Heather passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2024, in the loving care of the staff of Summerville Nursing Home, Strandhill, Sligo.

Predeceased by her husband Victor and her sister Jean.

Much loved mother of Angela and Tony and grandmother of Clare.

Sadly missed by her loving family, niece and nephews, and by her many friends in Ireland and abroad.

Funeral service at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Church of Ireland, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo, with burial following at Rosses Point Cemetery.

Worked in Ballincar house hotel many years ago. Got to know Heather who was a lovely lady and a very keen Gardner and flower arranger. Sorry to hear of hear of her passing. Deepest condolences to Angela and Tony and her extended family.
