March 1st 2026, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his mum and dad Martin and Margaret and brothers Micheál, Padraic and Gerry. Dearly loved husband of Máire Hunt. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sisters Julia, Pauline, Philomena and Patricia, brothers Martin, Dessie and Joe, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home (F91K289) on Tuesday, March 3rd from 4pm until 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4th at 11am in Saint Joseph’s Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo and will be livestreamed via https://www.churchtv.ie/stjosephschurch/. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Co. Sligo. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice Fund c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo via www.feehilys.ie/pay.
