Dunleavy Francis, 60 Cartron Estate, Sligo (F91Y8HN) and formerly of 18 Saint Josephs Terrace, Sligo, February 9th 2025, unexpectedly at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his daughter Margo, grandson Ross, parents Martin and Maggie and brothers Vincent, Patrick and Christy. Dearly loved husband of Noreen and adored father of Damien, Dervilla and Kevina. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, son, daughters, brothers Philip and Martin, sons-in-law Martin, Michael and Peter, daughter-in-law Loretta, cherished grandchildren Danielle, Shanice, Ryan, Stephanie, Kanah, Alanna, Lauren and Luke, great-grandchildren Mark, Callum, Finn, Darragh, Freya, Ross, Farrah, Carly and Emily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces both here and abroad, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Thursday, February 13th from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Home private at all other times please. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 12.00noon on Friday, February 14th in Saint Joseph's Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at https://www.churchtv.ie/stjosephschurch/. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery.

Francis was a frequent and welcome visitor to Bundoran. My sincere condolences to his family and everyone affected by his passing. May Francis, Margo and all the dearly departed rest in peace.
