Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of North West Hospice, Sligo following an illness bravely borne. Formerly of Telecom Eireann (Galway and Sligo).
Beloved husband and soulmate to Mary, loving dad and mentor to Ciaran and the late Niall, cherished brother to Liam, John, Miriam, Aidan and Mairead. Deeply regretted by his loving family, mother-in-law Agnes, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Friend and mentor to many in the VW Vintage Club.
At Rest
Reposing at his home on Wednesday October 13th from 4pm to 7pm for family and close friends only.
Removal on Thursday October 14th to St. Johns Cathedral, John Street, Sligo arriving for Funeral Service at 12noon. Burial will follow in Saint Patricks Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
In keeping with current Government regulations, attendance will be limited to 50% capacity in Church.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to North West Hospice online at www.feehilys.ie/pay. House private outside of reposing times please. Manys a great story I had with Liam all those years ago with Foróige. He even introduced me to the music of the great Leonard Cohen. Rest in peace.
