Eakins, Mary née Burke, Knocknahur, Co. Sligo and formerly of Dunmore, Galway, July 30th 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband George and brothers Michael Thomas, Harry and Martin. Dearly loved mother of Elton, Gina, David, Bryan, Sandra and Ivan. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, brothers John, Anthony and Patrick, sister Anne, sons-in-law Mathieu and Phil, daughters-in-law Tara and Victoria, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Ruairí, Lexie, Penelope, Alaia and Matteo, nephews, nieces, relatives, close neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Thursday August 1st from 5:00pm with removal at 6:30pm to Sligo Presbyterian Church, Charles Street, Sligo arriving at 7pm. Funeral Service on Friday August 2nd at 2pm. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Family home private please. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses c/o Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo at www.feehilys.ie. To all of Marys family I send you my most sincere sympathy. I knew Mary through my sister who worked with her . She was such a live wire , always full of fun and slighter . So sorry to hear of her death. May she Rest In Peace.
