Dear John and family . Sincere sympathy to all of you on Denises passing. May her gentle soul rest in heavenly peace and May her memory live on forever . My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very very sad time.I trained with Denise in Sligo many moons ago I have very fond memories of her during that time . She was always dressed to perfection hair make up and all with her beautiful beaming smile that would light up a room whenever she entered . She was so kind considerate and always in good humour . My friend Barbara and I had many a cup of tea in McGlinchey house on the Mall with Denise as had others in the class. Barbara and I also visited her in St Johns about a year ago. So sorry I cannot make the funeral today. Thinking of you all today as you lay her to eternal rest. God bless Catherine

Hi Niall , Majella Donoghue here from Carraroe NS. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today, as you bring your beautiful Mother to her final resting place. I hope the huge crowd and heartfelt support for you all comforts you somewhat. I have lovely memories of your mother Niall, from when you were 11 years old. Do you remember the senior children were asked to answer the secretary's phone at break times? Your mother knew the days you were in the office and she used to ring the school knowing you would answer!!! I remember thinking she must be good fun..Then we did a big Christmas show with the 2 senior classes together and your mother voluntarily made fabulous scrolls/ programmes..I remember marvelling at them wondering how she made them...l was only early 30s myself but l remember thinking she must be a great mother. Then at Easter 2000 you were playing the role of Jesus in the Passion Play in the Church. You had to walk down the isle carrying the cross etc. Unbeknownst to you, there wasn't a dry eye in the congregation ,as it was so symbolic of the huge cross you and your family were carrying.... Niall, you were a wonderful young child back then and l'm sure you've grown into a fine young man . God Bless you and your family. Majella Donoghue . PS l hope this gets to you privately!
