Fleming, Catherine née Towey, Old Cartron Hill, Sligo and formerly of Bockagh, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, December 11th 2024, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband David. Dearly loved mother of Frank and Carmel. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her son, daughter, daughter-in-law Elma, cherished grandchildren Cara and Ailbhe, sister-in-law Kathleen, nephew and nieces Deirdre, James and Caroline, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Friday, December 13th from 5pm with removal at 6:30pm to Saint Josephs Church, Ballytivnan, Sligo arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14th at 12noon and will be livestreamed via https://www.churchtv.ie/stjosephschurch/ Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery. Catherine was a lovely women, who loved her chats and always had a smile on her face. She was a pleasure to care for and I will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace

After 60+ years, it was a mild surprise finding out your name was Catherine, not Missus. You were always Mrs. Fleming to me, my second mother in the early 80s, tolerating and feeding Frank and me as we sorted ot the world's problems. Your kindness and charm has stayed with me and your sweet smile and lifting voice will be lasting memories. Frank and Carmel know that Ruth and I share their sorrow and grief and love and pride at a life well lived. Enjoy well deserved peace, Colman
