April 25th 2023, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Helga and Gerd. Dearly loved mother of Jenny and Jens, grandmother of Freya and partner of Jim. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, partner, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Seán Feehilys Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Friday, April 28th , from 11am with a Celebration of Life at 12noon. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. I have very fond memories of when Birgit and her parents came to Canada for a visit with my father and our family! Great time with them all. Rest in Peace dear cousin and condolences to Jenny, Jens and family on the loss of your mum from Canada!
