Caltragh Heights, Sligo and late of Kilfree, Gurteen, Co. Sligo and retired staff of Eircom, Sligo.

Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff at the Hazelwood Unit in St. Johns Community Hospital, Sligo. Dearly loved husband of Irene and father of Brendan and Kathleen (Mulligan).
Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret, brothers Jim, Frank, Brian and Martin and twin sister Margaret.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, son-in-law Seán, daughter-in-law Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Thomas and Conor, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace.
Mass of the Resurrection at 12.00noon on Tuesday November 14th in St. Johns Community Hospital, Sligo for family and close friends only. Burial follows in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.

Deepest condolences to Brendan's family. Brendan was a great gentleman who enjoyed meeting people, he had a great sense of humour and fun. It was a pleasure to know him as I've many funny memories. And I looked fondly at his book yesterday. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
